The Tokyo Central Station is a destination on it;s own. It's beautiful historical facade hides a modern interior and a maze of shops and eateries in it's underground.

The central station in the capital city of Japan. The station was built in 1914 but had a big refurbishment in 2014, so it took back the really beautiful old style appearance. One of interesting thing of this station is that there is an entrance which is only for Japanese Royalty Family and the road is directly connected to the Palace. Actually this big street where I took these photos is that road!

What’s not to love about this amazing train station. Here you will find the world’s most advanced train system and network, safe, in time, clean, and easy to find your way around. As a foreigner, it’s easy to navigate your way through if you can read basic English. And it’s easy to find someone to help you if you just want to talk to a human. Restaurants and coffee shops are plenty and good quality. Restrooms are also easy to locate. There is always a line though if it is outside the gate. Once you go inside the station the line is much shorter.
